You get side effects with anti-depressants too. I have really unpleasant & painful symptoms from my menopause & although HRT hasn't completely stopped them it does lessen them to a certain extent. Synthetic progesterones don’t agree with me: they were ok for the first couple of months but then I started getting awful side effects! Try bio identical progesterone caps utrogestan.
