Web8 okt. 2007 · Regarding the tooth spacing on the flywheel/flexplate/starte r drive, they're all the same. For example, on a stock starter, regardless of whether it is for the big (168 teeth) or small (153 teeth) flywheel, if you have to replace the starter drive, the guy at the parts store (NAPA, etc) will give you the same starter drive for either starter.

Web26 jul. 2009 · The flexplate holes are about 1/2 inch lower then the holes on the converter. I went and looked at my TCI Flexplate I had on my SB 350 and low and behold it had 2 sets of bolt hole. 1 set was about 1 1/4 inch off the teeth and the other was 1 3/4 off the teeth. The factory flexplate on the 454 had ALL it's holes drilled to the 1 1/4 holes. Web5 mrt. 2010 · Cylinder 1 is at the flywheel end of the engine, on the same side as the starter. Put an 85 6.9 in a 94 IDIT truck with E4OD. After much careful depth checking etc we ended up using the 6.9 / C6 set up that was on the engine.
